- 8 years ago, 25th of august... I was working in a sunny summer day. The day was very boring, everybody were at the beach, and I wanted to be there. But something was shining in my dark clothes shop. The Red Album arrived in my hands the day before (directly from USA), and I couldn't stop to listening. O-H, M-Y, the best Aaliyah that I never listened, the best album that I never listened!. 8 years ago, 25th of august, Aaliyah still shining for me. I still missing you babygirl. - I received today a very sad notice. The great r&b producer/writer Stephen Garrett A.K.A STATIC of playa, passed this february of 25th, by consecuence of a suppose heart attack. He was one of the members of r&b music group called "PLAYA", and worked with some of r&b superstars like our dear Aaliyah, Destiny's Child, Ginuwine, Brandy or P. Diddy. My condolences goes out with his family and friends. Another genius is gone again -->
